Biography

Chen Fengchao, Associate Chief Physician, Doctor of Medicine, PhD from the Graduate School of Medicine, Hirosaki University, Japan; completed postdoctoral clinical research at the University of Tokyo and Showa University, Japan; successively studied under international plastic and aesthetic surgery masters Professor Yoshiaki Hosaka and Professor Isao Koshima. Specialties: extensive international experience in aesthetic and plastic surgery, with unique repair methods and professional techniques for failed plastic surgery cases both in China and abroad.

Particularly specialized in personalized aesthetic surgery and failed-case repair of facial features; comprehensive eye surgery, comprehensive rhinoplasty, and comprehensive facial rejuvenation (upper eyelid skin lifting, lower eyelid skin lifting for eye bags, rhytidectomy of the forehead, temples, midface, mandibular border, and neck; small- and large-incision facial lifting surgery); breast augmentation with implants and autologous fat; minimally invasive aesthetic procedures (various injectable wrinkle reduction, depression filling, contour reshaping, etc.); liposuction and body contouring; complex facial rhytidectomy revision, reduction mammoplasty for macromastia, brachioplasty (bat-wing arms), abdominoplasty, buttock and thigh lift (Body Lift); aesthetic surgery for benign and malignant skin tumors; aesthetic treatment of various scars on the face and body surface; repair of congenital and acquired deformities and organ reconstruction, etc.

He began performing melanocyte transplantation for vitiligo in 1997. In 2009, he was among the first in China to introduce PRP technology and adipose-derived stem cell technology into plastic and aesthetic surgery. He has led and completed multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and other institutions, and has published more than 30 papers in core journals in China and abroad. 

Research interests: mainly elucidating the composition of the extracellular matrix, signal transduction, cell proliferation and differentiation, and the mechanisms of scarless skin healing; clinical application research on hyaluronic acid, recombinant proteoglycans, and their physiological functions; application research on PRP technology and adipose-derived stem cell technology in aesthetic and plastic surgery; minimally invasive and comprehensive anti-aging treatment of facial aging; clinical research on the clinical characteristics and surgical technique improvements of reduction mammoplasty and Body Lift in Asian populations, etc.
